Biography
- Kennon L. McFalls is a Gastonia native. His family is from Belmont and he has strong ties to the community. Upon graduating from Forestview High School in 2016, Kennon attended Belmont Abbey College where he majored in Political Philosophy. It was during those years that he formed an interest in law and pursued a Law degree and Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
- After graduating from Law school, Kennon clerked for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge Dan Hall of York. As a law clerk, Kennon traveled the State of South Carolina and sat on the bench with Judge Hall every day; he researched law to help make decisions on cases ranging from large medical malpractice suits to murder. This experience exposed Kennon to many different areas of law. In 2024, Kennon was hired as an Assistant District Attorney here in Gaston County where he rose through the ranks to become a lead DWI prosecutor. After serving the community as a Prosecutor, Kennon decided that he could use his talents in a different way and recently made the transition into private practice where he currently practices in the areas of criminal defense and family law.
- In his free time, Kennon enjoys bowling, pickleball, and watching new tv shows.
